Ordering

Following discussions, we will supply you with a written quote. Upon confirmation that you wish to proceed, we will then supply you with an invoice and order.

Payment Terms

Payment is preferred by bank transfer but we also accept cheques and credit cards to the maximum amount of £500.00.

A 25% deposit is required in order to secure the booking, based on the agreed quotation. The order must be finalised one week prior to the event. Full payment of the balance is due one week prior to the event based on the finalised order.

Corporate accounts are subject to application. Corporate accounts are required to be settled in full within 14 days of the invoice date.

Outstanding accounts of 14 days will incur interest at 2% above the Bank of Scotland Base Rate.

Cheques must be payable to Hubbub Catering Ltd.

Cancellation

For bookings under the value of £500 – cancellation can be made up to three working days before the event without incurring a cancellation fee. Cancellations made within three working days will be liable for 50% of the total costs

For bookings between the value of £500 – £1000 – cancellation can be made one working week before the event without incurring a cancellation fee. Cancellations made within one working week of the event will be liable for 50% of the total costs

For booking over the value of £1000 – cancellation can be made one month before the event without incurring a cancellation fee. Cancellations made within one month of the event will be liable for 50% of the total costs.

VAT

All prices are exclusive of VAT.

Delivery

We charge £20.00 for delivery to any London postcode. If you require delivery outside this area additional charges may apply.

Collections

We charge £20.00 for collections from any London postcode. Any collections after 5pm will incur a £40.00 charge.

All collections of plates, platters, etc are made the following working day unless a same-day collection is requested. Clients need to ensure all items are ready for collection at a central point. Any missing, chipped or broken items will be charged for.

Liability

The company is not liable for any failure to provide any services due to any cause beyond its reasonable control including, without limitation, any of the following: act of God, governmental act, war, fire, flood, explosion, or civil commotion. The company cannot be held responsible for late deliveries out of our control which also include traffic. We will however keep the customer informed on any estimated late arrival of goods and services.

The company does not accept responsibility for any damages, injuries, or losses that may occur during delivery, collection, or catered events.
